Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were well-decorated and quiet, they could benefit from some updates, especially in the bathrooms. The location overlooking the garden and a small castle was beautiful, making it perfect for a quiet stay. However, the dining options were limited with early breakfast hours, and the service, though friendly and helpful, had a minor issue with accommodating a service dog.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were stunning, very clean, and more like a suite than a hotel room. The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking available, which was convenient. However, the dining experience was only average with limited options.
The hotel is located in a tranquil setting near Milton of Campsie, with friendly and obliging staff. Although the standard seems to have declined, the service maintains a level of excellence. However, the dated rooms are in need of modernization, overshadowing the fantastic location near Kirkintilloch for a short break.
